It's not the fall that kills you. One of the problems with headlining the late show is the extra hours of drinking time it affords. Add heartbreak and subtract audience and there you have it. In fact, JFR was unconscious for much of the set, dragged around the stage by his ankles for effect. To his credit, he continued performing even under heavy suppression.
